MAGISTRATES gave a man found with heroin a conditional discharge.

Peter Best pleaded guilty to having the class A drug on him at his home in Copnor Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, on December 6.

The 45-year-old was given a six-month conditional discharge.

He was ordered to pay £85 costs.

Magistrates made an order for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
