A NECKLACE worth thousands of pounds has been stolen from a car.

Police are appealing for information after the incident in which a £6,000 Bvlgari piece of jewellery was taken overnight between January 11 and January 12.

The necklace was stolen from a car parked in Leander Drive, at Priddys Hard, Gosport.

Both Gosport police and Gosport Neighbourhood Watch shared the appeal on Twitter and Facebook to get information.
