THIEF Stuart McKenzie stole two televisions from the same shop.

He has now been ordered to get help for his drug addiction. McKenzie targeted Tesco in Crasswell Street, Portsmouth, in December last year and March this year, helping himself to a TV both times.

The 31-year-old was the subject of a community order at the time of the offence, having previously been convicted for stealing a vacuum cleaner from Sainsbury’s.

McKenzie, of Montague Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft and admitted breaching the community order at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He will have nine months of drug rehabilitation treatment and a year of supervision from the probation service
