THESE two men are wanted by police after a mother and son were racially abused in the street.
Police have released CCTV footage in a bid to track down the two men who they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
The woman, who is in her 40s, was walking along Camp Road in Gosport after picking her six-year-old son up from school.
Two men then crossed the road and started making threats and shouting out racial abuse.
The woman and her son were not assaulted or injured, but the abuse left them upset and frightened.
It happened at around 3.40pm on June 3.
Investigating officer PC Emily Gregg said: ‘This appears to be an isolated incident which coincided with schools closing for the day.
‘It is possible it was witnessed by a member of the public picking up children from local schools or using the Texaco garage on Fareham Road.
‘We take hate crimes of this nature very seriously and are appealing to speak with anyone who can give us information about the identity of the offenders.
‘The abuse towards this woman and her son was totally unprovoked.’
Anyone with information should call the Safer Neighbourhoods team at Gosport police station on 101.
