Senior police officer hits out at ‘irresponsible’ drivers after 320 thefts from vehicles

A FURTHER appeal for witnesses has been made by the police following a fight.

Hampshire Constabulary is asking anyone who might have seen the fight, near the junction of St Thomas Road and Grove Road, in Gosport, to come forward.

During the incident, which was at about 12.50am on October 19, a Gosport man in his 20s received facial injuries.

A 19-year-old man from Gosport and a 20-year-old man from Havant were arrested on suspicion of assault later that week.

They were both questioned and bailed until November 20, pending further enquiries.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Fareham police station by phoning 101.
