A PAIR of suspected armed robbers stole £400 in a raid on a betting shop in Gosport.

Two men entered Ladbrokes in Forton Road shortly after 8pm on Thursday.

It’s alleged one man was carrying a knife and demanded shop staff hand over money. A cash tin and some money from a till was handed over.

It’s estimated around £400 was stolen. No-one was injured.

The two suspects left the shop together and were seen cycling towards Brougham Street and on to the cycle track alongside Ann’s Hill Road.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the identity of suspects are asked to contact Fareham Police Station by phoning 101.
