Arrest after bag stolen in burglary

A MAN has been arrested after a handbag was stolen in Fareham.

The 34-year-old was held on Thursday on suspicion of burglary.

He has been bailed until October.

It comes after a man was seen running away from a burgled home in Leigh Road, Fareham, between 1.30pm and 1.50pm on Monday, August, 19.

Police have only now released details.

A thief had entered the home through the back door and was seen running from Grove Road and turning into West Street.
