Special branch investigate after Ukip candidate’s legal battle papers stolen

A DRIVER was arrested after a hit-and-run that left a cyclist seriously hurt.

Emergency services went Shripney Road, Bognor, after a collision between a car and a cyclist.

The 45-year-old man riding the bike suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital following the incident at about 5.30am on Wednesday. A 30-year-old man from Bognor was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop.
