POLICE are hunting a man who threatened a teenager with broken glass in an attempted robbery.

The 18-year-old victim was at the junction of Inhurst Road and London Road, in North End, Portsmouth, between 3.30am and 3.40am on Saturday when the terrifying incident took place.

He ran away along London Road, without handing any of his belongings over, before calling the police.

The suspect is described as white with a pale complexion, aged in his early 20s with light brown hair.

He was wearing a dark grey hooded top and dark jogging bottoms.
