Bad plates on roads
MORE than 200 drivers were caught on the roads with illegal number plates.
Figures released by Hampshire police found 218 people received penalties for having illegal registration plates.
The county has the sixth highest number, with the Metropolitan Police topping the list with 812.
The 2015 figures were compiled by Click4reg.co.uk, with 34 police forces supplying the information.
