DRINK-DRIVER Darren Ellis has been banned from the roads.

Ellis, 30, of Ophir Road, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offence in Rowlands Castle.

His breath contained 55 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Ellis was fined £200 and banned from driving for 15 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
