A DRINK-DRIVER caught behind the wheel while twice the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.

Melissa Banks, 34, of Swanton Close, Fareham, admitted committing the offence in Whiteley Way, Fareham.

A test revealed her breath contained 91 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Banks was fined £110 and banned from driving for two years.

She was told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs by magistrates.
