DRINK-DRIVER Elizabeth Rhodes has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

Rhodes, from Meon Close, Gosport, admitted driving a Daewoo Matiz on the M27 at Fareham after drinking too much.

A test revealed her breath contained 98 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – more than twice the legal limit of 35mg.

Rhodes was banned from driving for two years and told to do 100 hours of unpaid work in the next year by Fareham magistrates.

The 21-year-old was told to pay £40 in court costs.
