DRINK-DRIVER Timothy Cornick was caught behind the wheel while twice the legal alcohol limit.

Cornick, 34, of Delft Gardens, Waterlooville, admitted committing the offence while driving a BMW in Napier Road, Waterlooville.

A test revealed his breath contained 76 microgrammes of alcohol per 100ml. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Cornick was fined £150 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned from driving for 16 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
