DISQUALIFIED driver Ben Upton has been given a curfew after he ignored his ban and got back behind the wheel.

He was caught driving a Rover in Kingston Road, Buckland, on August 15.

Upton, 25, of Whitcombe Gardens, Milton, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He will have to stay in every day between 8pm and 7am for six weeks.

He was banned from driving for another six months.
