A BOY was left injured after a man confronted him about using his camera phone.

The 12-year-old boy was man-handled after a man confronted him about using the phone.

The man pushed him over and left him with a cut lip, sore nose and bruising.

The incident happened at around 8pm in Leesland Park, Gosport, on Wednesday.

The man was described as in his 30s, about 6ft tall, short blond hair and stubble.

He was wearing a white cardigan, blue jeans a gold necklace and black sunglasses.

He was with a young boy and another man.

Cindy Wishart, a police spokeswoman, said: ‘This is an isolated incident.’
