Police offer reward for arrest of former Portsmouth resident after £12 million heroin supply trial

A MAN walked in on a burglar who had smashed his way into his house.

The homeowner disturbed the crook at his home in Linden Road, Bognor.

After realising someone was in the house the burglar ran away.

Police say the break-in happened at about 1.45pm on August 15. Police have just revealed details.

Detective Constable Gavin Percival said: ‘The occupant said someone rang the doorbell shortly before he heard the glass breaking and loud footsteps.’

The suspect is a large man, who was wearing a black top with black trousers and boots.
