BURGLARS stole two children’s bikes in a break-in.

The victim returned home to her property at Farmlea Road, in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, to discover her TV and pet dog in the back garden.

Going to the front of the property she found the door had been forced and a chest of drawers put behind it to stop anyone from getting in.

The thieves fled with two children’s motorbikes – a blue and white Yamaha 85CC off-road motorbike and a red 50CC Chituma quad bike.

They also stole a Samsung laptop, a 50in Samsung TV, a Nintendo Wii games console, gold jewellery and a Denon CD system with speakers between 8.30am and 1pm on November 9.

PC Shaun Brennan said: ‘It is possible that we are looking for more than one offender and that they used a vehicle to transport the items from the address.

‘The stolen items are very distinctive, so I would appeal to anyone who may have been offered them for sale or witnessed the incident to contact us as soon as possible.’

Call PC Brennan at Fratton CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
