BURGLARS who ransacked a home during a break-in are being hunted by police.

The crooks broke into a home in Pannall Road, Gosport by smashing the window of a conservatory door after snapping a fence panel on the back gate.

They had also tried to force the door. Once inside they rifled through cupboards and drawers in the living room and three upstairs bedrooms before fleeing with gold earrings worth about £50 and some cheaper, imitation gold earrings.

Now police are appealing for witnesses to the crime, which happened between 4.30pm on October 23 and 10.25am on Thursday.
