NEARLY £3,000 was stolen in two burglaries at a store.

Hampshire police said Lidl in Norway Road, Hilsea, was targeted twice, first at 1am on May 30 and then at 11pm on June 9.

Thieves took £2,800 from seven till drawers.

Seven till drawers containing cash totalling around £2,800 was stolen.

DC Sharon Lewry said: ‘We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who saw any suspicious people in the area.’
