Senior police officer hits out at ‘irresponsible’ drivers after 320 thefts from vehicles

A MAN who was seen walking along the hard shoulder of the M27 ended up in hospital.

Police are investigating after he was found with serious head injuries.

He is 5ft 7in, of a medium build with greying hair, in a ponytail. He was wearing a yellow and blue jacket, a cream T-shirt with coloured hoops, beige trousers, blue canvas shoes and a blue cap.

He was seen leaving Bordon Working Men’s Club between 10pm and 10.45pm on Thursday.

He was then seen at around 6am on Friday on the hard shoulder of the eastbound carriageway of the M27 at Junction 12. Hampshire police said officers described him as ‘fit and well’ at that time.

Officers took him to Havant train station at 6.20am. At 9.30am he got off a train at Haslemere and seen there at 11.25am when he was taken to hospital. Call police on 101 quoting 45150069838.
