BURGLARS broke into Chichester City Football Club and stole electrical equipment, including the CCTV system.

The club premises in Wellington Road was broken into overnight.

The crooks left a trail of damage, breaking a number of internal doors, locks and the fruit machine.

A blu-ray player, Sony CD player, £175 cash and four bottles of spirits were stolen from the bar.

Police are investigating and are appealing for witnesses following the break-in, which happened between 9.30am on December 6 and 9.30am on December 8, although details have only just been released.
