BURNING questions can be put to the county’s police and crime commissioner tomorrow.

Simon Hayes will be hosting a live webchat from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, to coincide with his first anniversary in the position.

Mr Hayes said: ‘Throughout my first year in office I have travelled extensively across all corners of Hampshire and Isle of Wight meeting many individuals, groups and organisations.

‘I recognise however this has involved only a small percentage of the 1.9m population I represent.

‘By hosting this live webchat and others on a regular basis in the future, I hope to provide more people with the chance to talk to me about what matters most to them.

‘Regular webchats are just one way in which I plan to engage with the public in the future and these will be supported by regular visits to communities across the two counties, where I will be able to meet the public face-to-face.’
