POLICE have charged two men following reportrs of late night robberies in Southsea.

The first alleged robbery was in St James Road in the early hours of Sunday, February 12.

The second incident is said to have taken place a few hours later in Waverley Road between midnight and 1am.

Sonny Dean Towner, 34, and 25-year-old Thomas Peter Buchanan, both of Waverley Road, Southsea, have been charged with two counts of robbery.

They will appear at Portsmouth Crown Court in May.
