THREE homes were targeted by burglars in one night.

Offenders broke into properties in Denmead and stole electrical items, jewellery, a bag of Christmas presents and the keys to a car which was then taken.

Homes in Hambledon Road, Chestnut Close and Bere Road were targeted.

A black Honda Civic was taken from outside the house in Hambledon Road and was later found in Linnet Close, Wecock. The break-ins happened during the early hours of last Wednesday, but details have just been released by police.

PC Andrew Ferguson said: ‘I’d like to hear from anyone who has information about these incidents. Have you seen anyone suspicious in the area? If you do see anyone suspicious you should take down any car registration numbers and contact the police. We have increased patrols in the area.’
