POLICE are looking for two men who grabbed hundreds of pounds from a couple as part of a planned rip-off..

The couple were approached in Bognor Regis town centre by a man offering cheap Apple electronics for sale.

He took them to his car in Morrison’s car park in Bedford Street, showed them the Apple equipment and a price of £400 was agreed.

The woman was handed a bag but became suspicious and refused to hand over the cash she had just withdrawn until she had seen the contents.

At this, the man threatened her, grabbed the money and drove off, with an accomplice, in their light blue Ford Focus, heading south on The Queensway at about 2.40pm on Friday.

The first man was white, 6ft, about 36, fat, clean-shaven and with a shaven head. He had an Irish accent and was wearing a yellow T-shirt. The other man was also white and aged about 25.
