POLICE have charged a lorry driver with careless driving following a crash that closed the A27 at Arundel.

The collision, on Tuesday, involved a Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Transit and a DAF lorry. The car driver sustained an injury to her pelvis.

Lorry driver Shameer Wadalee, 36, from the Netherlands, must appear at Worthing Magistrates Court on July 8 to answer the charges.
