Crash driver banned from the roads

A DRIVER has been spared prison after driving off from a crash.

Benjamin Goodbody, 24, of Glenthorne Meadows, Petersfield, admitted driving without due care and attention, driving without a licence and without insurance, and failing to stop when a crash happened owing to the presence of his vehicle on the road.

All the charges related to a crash between Goodbody’s Vauxhall Astra and a Citroen C3 in Rowlands Castle Road, Horndean, on June 12.

Goodbody also admitted obstructing a police officer.
