A NEW £1.8m programme to look after victims has been agreed.

Hampshire’s police and crime commissioner Simon Hayes has commissioned a victim care service.

Mr Hayes said: ‘The service will be at the centre of, and the gateway to, a range of specialist voluntary organisations whose primary purpose is to support vulnerable groups.’

These organisations include the Citizens Advice Bureau, Agency Concern, Age UK, Solent MIND, the Southampton Care Association and others

The new agreement was signed yesterday.
