INDIVIDUALS, groups and organisations that run crime reduction projects are being invited to apply for financial support from the county’s police and crime commissioner.

Simon Hayes’s Protecting People and Places Fund holds a total of £35,932.

Grants of up to £5,000 are being offered to those across Hampshire who deliver crime reduction projects that support the priorities of the commissioner.

Projects can include those working to reduce reoffending and reducing antisocial behaviour and improving front-line policing.

The closing date for applications is mid-day on Monday, January 13. Full details on how to apply are available at hampshire-pcc.gov.uk/Partnership/Protecting-People-and-Places-Fund.aspx.
