SERIAL thief Teresa Marsh has bene ordered to stay in at night.

Marsh, 35, of Farmlea Road, Portsmouth, admitted stealing a drill worth nearly £100 from Homebase in Burrfields Road, Portsmouth.

She pleaded guilty to stealing hoovers and a lock worth £292 from the same store in a different incident.

And Marsh admitted stealing more than £87 of make-up from Boots in Cosham High Street.

She pleaded guilty to committing the crime while she was subject to a community order – also imposed for theft.

Marsh was given a curfew ordering her not to leave home between 7pm and 7am for three months.

The curfew will be monitored with an electronic tag.

She must pay £150 in compensation to Homebase.

Portsmouth magistrates made no order for costs.
