SHOPLIFTER Simon Davison has been given a community order.

The 29-year-old pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of Jack Daniels whisky worth £59.94 from Tesco in Crasswell Street, Portsmouth, on March 5.

Davison, from Victoria Road South, Southsea, was given a community order with a curfew by Portsmouth magistrates. He must not leave his home between 7pm and 7am for two months.
