A WOMAN who assaulted a police officer and a detention officer has been given a curfew.

Sharon Gale, 38, of Horse Sands Close, Eastney, Portsmouth, admitted assaulting the PC in St Ronan’s Road, Southsea. She pleaded guilty to assaulting the detention officer at Portsmouth Central police station in Winston Churchill Avenue. Gale was ordered her not to leave home between 7pm and 7am for 20 days.

Portsmouth magistrates ordered her to pay £50 compensation and £60 in court costs.
