Cyclist is hurt by Portsmouth attackers

Nearly 2,700 cases of non-recent child abuse have been recorded by police in Hampshire. The NSPCC's chief executive said it is a sign that more people are confident in reporting the crimes perpetrated against them.

THUGS who pushed a man of his bike and assaulted him are wanted by police.

The 20-year-old victim was approached by three youths in Somers Road, Somers Town, Portsmouth, when he was attacked.

He suffered swelling to his head in the attack, which happened at about 5pm on Wednesday.

The three attackers are all described as white.

The first is of a thin build, wore a black coat and was riding a mountain bike.

The second youth is thin and rode a BMX bike.

And the third was of a larger build and had a mountain bike.
