POLICE boarded a ferry yesterday to hand out crime prevention advice to cyclists.

PCSO Rob Lanninan and PC Pam Collier were on morning services run by Gosport Ferry and spoke to cyclists about registering their bikes.

PCSO Lanninan said they were there as the ferry gave a captive audience.

He said: ‘They can register their property online so when it gets recovered we can then reunite it with the owner.’
