THREE young men attacked a man as he walked home, police have said.

The 48-year-old victim was attacked in Agnew Road, Bridgemary, Gosport, when he was approached from behind after visiting the Nobes Avenue shops.

One of them hit the man and he fell to the ground. The trio then demanded he hand over alcohol he had just bought.

He was then kicked in the back before the group ran off.

It happened at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 26. Hampshire police released details yesterday.

The first man was between 18 and 20, slim, 5ft 8ins tall and had short cropped black hair.

He was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and black Nike trainers.

The second man was also 5ft 8ins tall and slim.

He was wearing a white tracksuit jacket with a yellow stripe down the arm and blue jeans.

The third attacker was between 18 and 20, slim and has light brown hair.

He was wearing a white and red jacket and blue jeans.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area of Agnew Road and Cameron Close at the time.
