A DIAMOND ring has been stolen in a house burglary.

The break-in happened between 11am and 1pm on Monday, February 18 at an address in East Street, Hambledon.

The thief took cash and a white metal ring with a single diamond, which was embossed with the initials CG.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
