A 69-year-old man injured his leg when he fell out of a taxi.

The pensioner was getting out of a black Ford Mondeo taxi in Seagrove Road, Hayling Island, and as the cab pulled away the man fell and broke his leg.

It happened at 1.30pm on Saturday.

PC Steve Wootton from the Roads Policing Unit said: ‘I’d like to speak to anyone who can help us piece together how the man came to fall over and injure his leg.’

Witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
