The unique hand-built bicycle was taken from a house in Paulsgrove between 5.30pm and 10.10pm on Saturday. It is described as a downhill mountain bike with distinct gold-coloured handle bars, red grips, no mud guards, a red DMR on the rear wheel, and has an Amoeba Hussar frame.

Det Con Kristy O’Brien said: ‘This is a unique bike and therefore very distinctive. If you have seen a bicycle of this description being ridden after 5pm on Saturday or have any knowledge of this bike’s whereabouts, please contact the police.’
