POLICE want to speak to this man in connection with the theft of a mobile phone from a petrol station.

A woman was in the Tesco petrol station in Solent Way, Havant, when she bumped into a friend.

Her car was left unlocked on the forecourt of the station while the pair chatted.

During those 15 minutes the woman’s mobile telephone was stolen from her Peugeot 206.

CCTV has now become available of the incident which occurred between 7pm and 7.15pm on Monday, July 16 in the car park of Tesco at Solent Way.

The picture, above right, is a still taken from the video recording.

PC Nick Wisdom from Waterlooville police, said: ‘I would like to hear from this man or anyone who recognises this man as he may be able to assist us with this investigation.’
