A MAN has been banned from the roads for drink-driving.

Dr Razi Hamad, 38, of Tamworth Road, Waterlooville, was caught driving in a Volkswagen Passat in Hulbert Road on February 26.

A test revealed he had 133 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, nearly four times the 35mg legal limit.

Portsmouth magistrates imposed a community order with 150 hours’ unpaid work.

He must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs. He was banned for 30 months.
