A DOG walker was attacked by a man as she walked along an alleyway.

The 45-year-old woman was walking along an alley next to King George’s Field, off Felpham Way, Bognor, when a man grabbed her from the side.

The woman fell to the floor and suffered scratch marks.

The dog, a Staffie cross Jack Russell, went for the attacker and chased him off.

The attack happened between 4pm and 5pm on November 27, although police have only just released details.

The suspect is white, of medium build, about 5ft 6in, with an unshaven face and was wearing dark clothing with his hood up.

When the dog attacked 
him the victim heard him shout out in what 
sounded like a foreign language.
