A MAN whose dog injured a woman has been banned from owning a dog for five years.

Michael Hoskins, 42, of Carisbrooke Road, Gosport, admitted owning the dog, and that it was dangerously out of control and hurt the victim in Brookers Field, Rowner, Gosport, on October 28.

The dog has been destroyed by police.

Hosking was ordered to pay £300 compensation to the victim at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

He must also pay £30 in court costs.
