A DRINK-DRIVER was caught while more than twice the legal alcohol limit.

Algis Jonaitis, 21, of Pink Road, Portsmouth, admitted committing the offence while driving an Audi A6 in Francis Avenue, Southsea. A test revealed his blood contained 204 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80mg.

Jonaitis admitted driving the car without insurance and taking it without consent at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was fined £450 and told to pay a £25 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned from driving for 18 months.
