DRINK-DRIVER David Roberts has been banned from the roads,

Roberts, 33, of London Road, North End, admitted driving a car in Mile End Road, Buckland, after drinking too much on August 28.

A test revealed his breath contained 84 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – more than twice the legal 35mcg limit.

Roberts was told to pay £200 in a fine and costs and banned from driving for 22 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
