A DRINK-DRIVER who was more than twice the limit has been fined and banned from the roads.

Jonathan O’Brien, 29, of Chidham Close, Havant, was stopped by the police as he drove a Vauxhall Combo van in James Callaghan Drive, Fareham.

A breathalyser test showed he had 86 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

O’Brien was fined £350 with £100 in costs and banned from driving for 16 months at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
