DRINK-DRIVER Peter Calvert has been banned from the roads.

Calvert pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra in Bedhampton Road, Bedhampton, after drinking too much on November 27.

A test revealed the 63-year-old’s breath contained 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Calvert, of Lavender Road, Waterlooville, was fined £135 and told to pay £15 to victims of crime by Portsmouth magistrates. He was banned from driving for 16 months.
