DRINK-DRIVER Julian Booth has been banned from the roads for 16 months.

Booth, 47, of Livingstone Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He had 99 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped on the A3 at Waterlooville.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
