A WOMAN caught behind the wheel while more than twice the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.

Maizee Marsden, 48, of Talbot Road, Southsea, admitted committing the offence while driving a Seat Ibiza in Bramble Road, Southsea.

A test revealed her breath contained 97 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Marsden was banned from driving for two years.

She was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
