DRINK-DRIVER Richard Faulds has been banned from the roads.

Faulds had denied driving a Kia Rio in Mill Road, Fareham, while more than twice the legal alcohol limit on September 9.

But he was found guilty by Fareham magistrates.

A test revealed the 66-year-old’s breath contained 89 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Faulds, from Gaylyn Way, Fareham, was fined £200.

He was also told to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £200 in court costs.

Faulds was banned from getting behind the wheel for 18 months.
